Poem 6 – Farewell

Once I heard your voice,
Heard your step and saw your face
And nothing, no nothing seemed the same.

Once, I told myself,
Tomorrow, or the next day,
I vowed that I would teach the world my love.

But there was always another tomorrow,
And always another next day
And now I find too many years have swiftly passed away,

So now that I hear your voice for the last time
It is only now that I can say
To whom I’ve found I’ve given my young heart.

  1. I am extremely impressed along with your writing talents and also with the layout to your blog. Is that this a paid subject or did you modify it yourself? Either way stay up the excellent high quality writing, it is uncommon to peer a nice blog like this one today..

Tell us what you thought, or if to you these words are naught.
