Poem 100 – A Hundred Ports

So here we are, a hundred ports
Having sailed across the seas.
What sights we’ve seen!
Mice and angels, mortal men,
Listening calmly for a moment then
Hearing trains speeding through the night,
Singing of lust and candles burning bright,
Across spring and winter and love we’ve ranged.
Though some ports are similar, many have changed,
But though the music sounds different, the song is the same.

Dear readers,

Here we are – a hundred poems! It’s been amaying, and I wouldn’t have gone on without my readers in every continent. Please check out the archive – I’m sure there’s something you’ll enjoy. The material linked is linked because it scans, not necessarily because it’s the best. If you find something that should have been included, why not link it below?

Kind regards, and here’s to another hundred!
