Poem 144 – Of Bees

A billion words have been said of buzzing bees –
A fact which continues to mystify me,
Since while their humming bewitches me to peace,
They’re still so funnily fuzzy.

Dear all,

This will never be one of my most beautiful poems, but I promised a poem today, and have provided this verse. Ultimately, it was prompted by the realisation that, if they had no stings, I would gladly stroke a bee.

Kind regards,

The Hapless Neo-Romantic.
