In the wings as bright lights rise,
And the audience laughs and applauds,
I hide in the wing behind the strobes,
In shadow and in robes of black
And give a smile in the dark.

Dear readers,
I apologise for not updating on Monday – unfortunately, other matters got in the way. In order to compensate, and to bring a plan I’ve had for a while into action, I will update every day this week (Not including the weekend). If it seems to work, I will continue to do so in future.
In other news, this poem was written after a successful premiere of a show I directed in London. There are few things more enjoyable than a good opening night.
Kind regards,
The Hapless Neo-Romantic
