Poem 356 – I Will Not Forget

I could, I suppose, forget the past,
What you’ve done to me,
And also let slip remembrance
Of what I’ve done for thee.
But I WILL NOT allow all this,
You did those things, did them to me,
In your bandit hope I’d never see
And now you’re sorry? You feel guilty?
Why then should I set you free?
